Day 1: Arrival Tirana
Arrival Tirana and transfer to hotel.
Day 2: Tirana Shkoder Lake Scutari
Sightseeing in Tirana. After the city tour we head north to the city of Shkoder, the largest city in northern Albania. Afterwards we pass the border to Montenegro and reach Lake Scutari. Here we take a boat trip and see not only the enchanting nature but also the "Alcatraz" of Montenegro, an abandoned prison island. Hotel in Budva
Day 3: Budva Cetinje Njegusi Perast Kotor
Drive to Cetinje - the old capital of Montenegro. Old embassy buildings still tell the story of the capital of a state that once was considered the poorest kingdom in Europe. We visit the royal palace. Then we drive to the village of Njegusi. Here we can taste the famous raw ham. We can also watch the women baking and preparing bread. In the afternoon the next highlight of the trip, after a breathtaking downhill ride on one of the most spectacular roads of the country we reach Perast. Boat trip in the bay of Kotor to the monastery island Lady on the Rock. City tour of Kotor with the cathedral of St. Trifun, then back to Budva.
Day 4: Budva Podgorica Kolasin Pec
Today we first explore the Montenegrin capital Podgorica. After a city tour, we continue through the famous Moraca Canyon to the winter sports resort of Kolasin, situated at an altitude of over 1,000 metres. In the afternoon we drive to the Kosovo border, soon after we reach the town of Pec, were we check into our hotel.
Day 5: Pec Prishtina Skopje
After breakfast we visit the Patriarchate Church in Pec. Short tour of Prishtina, the capital of Kosovo. We cross the border to Northern Macedonia and reach the capital Skopje. We take a city tour - we see the old town with the fortress Kale, the church St. Spas and the grand bazaar, as well as the new town with the Alexander Fountain and the Mother Theresa House. In the evening, a traditional dinner with music awaits us in a restaurant in Skopje.
Day 6: Skopje Mavrovo Ohrid
Drive to Tetovo, where we visit the "Colourful Mosque". Then we continue to the Mavrovo National Park. Unique nature and the highest mountains of Macedonia await us. Visit to the monastery of St. Jovan Bigorski, then on to the UNESCO city of Ohrid.
Day 7: Ohrid Tirana
We drive to the centre of the UNESCO city and gain our first impressions during a boat trip along the promenade to the Kaneo Church, probably the most famous photo spot in Macedonia. From here we explore the city on foot. Afterwards we have free time to stroll around, then we drive to the Albanian border, in the evening we reach the capital Tirana again.
Day 8: Departure
Transfer to the airport
