Highlights of Cyprus

Day 1: Arrival Paphos Or Larnaca – Limassol (60km – 45min)

Upon landing at Paphos or Larnaca Airport, head to the Arrivals hall where you will find a representative waiting for you. You will then be transferred to your hotel, where you can settle in before spending the rest of this first day at your leisure. Overnight in Limassol.

Day 2: Limassol – Kourion, Kolossi, Omodos & Wine Full Day Tour – Limassol (100km – 2hrs)

Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the hotel before today's tour. Cyprus is all rolling hills dotted with pretty villages. On this small group tour, you'll see where a legend was born, visit the ruins of Kourion, venture to the village of Omodos and cap off the day with a wine tasting. You'll dive straight into the past at Kourion, one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Cyprus. Visit the Roman baths and amble into the site's centrepiece, the Greco-Roman theatre where concerts are still held to this day. Explore the mosaics of the trio of excavated houses known as those of Eustolius, the Gladiators and Achilles as impressive as when they were laid down. The 15th-century Kolossi Castle is up next. This steeped-in-legend Crusader-built fortress is nowadays surrounded by blooming plants. Then, we'll head to mountain-fringed Omodos, where you'll enjoy a local lunch in a family-run taverna and have free time to wander around skinny cobbled streets lined with Byzantine buildings enjoying the tranquillity and peacefulness. Next, there's a winery tour, where you'll learn all about sweet commandaria wine – one of the oldest varieties in the world before returning to the hotel.Overnight in Limassol.

Day 3: Limassol – Nicosia – Limassol (170km – 2hrs)

Have breakfast at the hotel before today's tour of Nicosia, the last divided capital in the world. Nicosia is a fascinating city to explore, offering you a glimpse of two very different worlds. This tour starts in the Cypriot southern area and passes the 'Green Line' buffer zone to explore the northern part of Nicosia. Your first stop is the St. John's Cathedral, built in Franco-Byzantine style. Next up is a walking tour through the historic streets of Laiki Geitonia inside the Venetian city walls. It's a maze of winding streets with churches, squares and ornate buildings. After passing the Green Line, you'll hear tales of the city's history and culture as you tick off some of the main sites. Then, pass back into the southern area to Ledra Street and embrace modern city life under your own steam. Note: Pickup for the Nicosia walking tour is at the Atlantica Bay Hotel. Please make your own way to the hotel. Pick-up time will be advised on booking confirmation. Overnight in Limassol.

Day 4: Limassol

Wake up to a tasty breakfast at your hotel and get ready for a day at leisure. Overnight in Limassol.

Day 5: Limassol – Troodos Mountains 4x4 – Limassol (100km – 2hrs)

Spend the day travelling through the forested Troodos Mountains and discover some of Cyprus' wildest landscapes on this 4x4 tour. See vineyards, waterfalls, mountain villages like Lefkara, pine forests and more. Start with the impressive Dipotamos Dam for a photo stop. Then, it's on to the sleepy mountain village of Lefkara, renowned for its intricately-made lace and silverware. We'll go a bit off-piste into Mesa Potamos Forest where you can take part in an optional hike too. Once you've built up an appetite, a meze-style lunch will be served in a village taverna. Then, we'll head to a beautiful forest waterfall with ice-cold water cascading down 20m. There'll also be a stop for some wine-tasting, followed by a visit to Tochni village, where you can walk through narrow streets and try a Cypriot coffee in a local ‘kafenion'. A refreshing end to an action-packed day. Overnight in Limassol.

Day 6: Limassol – Departure Paphos Or Larnaca (60km – 45min)

After one last breakfast at your hotel, bid farewell to Cyprus as you hop onto a comfortable transfer to Paphos or Larnaca International Airport, where you will catch your flight to your following destination. We hope the memories of this trip will stay with you for a lifetime – have a safe journey!
